Join the Shire of Southmarch for a day of fun and frolic in the sun. The site will open at 9 a.m. with a Pas d' Armes tournament starting at noon. For the sporting there will be Viking long boat racing (construct your boat to a length of between 1 and 2 feet), stone throwing, axe throwing, rolling pin toss, and a periwinkle shoot. For a fine finish to the day the feast will begin at 5 p.m. Site Fee: Adults $8.00, Children $4.00, and a NMS of $3.00 without proof of membership. Make checks payable to Shire of Southmarch, SCA Inc. The site is the Pavilion at the marina across from Moore Park. From I-5 take the Crater Lake Highway (62), Klamath Falls exit. Follow Highway 62 north to the 140 Klamath Falls exit. Turn Right onto Highway 140 and continue east toward Klamath Falls. Turn left 1 mile past the Running Y resort onto Lakeshore Drive, the site will be on the left about 4 miles from 140. From Hwy 97 take the Oregon Ave, Lakeshore Drive exit. Turn right, the site will be just past the Moore Park entrance on the Right.
